Appointment – Harvest Chemicals (Pty) Ltd CEO

– Mr Gerhard Heyns

It is with great pleasure and pride that Mr Gerhard Heyns is appointed CEO of Harvest Chemicals (Pty) Ltd, effective 1 February 2022.

Gerhard’s experience and age makes him an ideal candidate to take Harvest forward on its impressive growth curve.

This experience includes:

• Experience with multi-national BASF starting as Regional Sales Manager and ending eight years later as National Sales Manager for his last two years.

Then followed

• Two years as Sales and Marketing Manager with Avima before joining Harvest Chemicals in May 2021 as Commercial Director.

It was under Gerhard’s watch as Commercial Director since May 2021 that Harvest is expected to double sales value again to year end 31 March 2022.

With the granting of a further 4 registrations in December 2021 and the expectation of a further 4 registrations in 2022, Gerhard is confident of doubling sales volumes again to 31 March 2023.
